True, we're fortunate we don't have to go back to Staples Center to play the Fakers. Although we're getting screwed against the Jazz with 2 of our 3 games being in Utah.

This stretch will really tell us how far this team can go. We already know how mentally tough the Rockets are with the win streak. After the next three teams, We will finally get to see if this team will be able to win it all. Exciting stuff.

We are 2 and 1 against the Spurs and play them on March 30th...thus we control our own destiny.

I def agree that we'll see what this team is made of in that stretch.

I think one of the best effects of this streak is that it got the city excited which could help later n home games. The games against the fakers, streak or not should have an electric atmosphere. Wish I could be there.

A little early still but the Rox are in a good position to make a great run for the number one spot. Here is to hoping Landry has no further problems because we need him for this king of run.

    Who would have thought indeed!

I remember reading a thread where the OP wrote how Rockets will be #1... we are actually getting closer!

Can someone dig that thread out and give the OP some props? I cannot search, unfortunately.

We have 2 more games against them. Since the rockets are only 1 game behind, they will have to control their destiny by winning all their games including the 2 against the Spurs. That means the Spurs will be 1 game behind them.

Never mind. we are already 2-1 against them. We only have a game left against them. The rockets have to win it to get the tiebreaker and get the higher seed.

OK the Lakers just lost, so the Rockets could be in first place in the ENTIRE Western Conference by the end of next week.

We're going to be playing at a high level for all five of those teams. If McLady has an off night and stops going the bucket. The streak will end. Once again it's all on McGrady.

    My prediction
Lakers = W (Kobe gets his and nobody else not even Gasol)
Boston = W (Sam is too old at 38 to do anything and they have no one to check Tmac and we have no one to check Garnett. I'm concerned by Ray getting off against Tmac if Tmac checks him. I would like to see Battier on Pierce)
New Orelans = W (let cp3 get his and we win by 10 plus)
Golden State = L (potential streak stopper if Monta and Baron gets off. Steven Jackson has to check McGrady)
Phoenix = W (only stoudemire is a concern, no D for Tmac and we can actually run with them)

Very likely that the Spurs lose to the Nuggets back end of the back-to-back games. If this happens coupled with the Rockets win over the Nets, then this would put us firmly in 2nd place overall and into first place in the SW Division.

We are gonna need Landry for the Lakers and Celtics. Gotta have him back by then. But I am also encouraged having Harris on our team now. Dang we are stacked.

It's possible that the Spurs lose again. It's the 2nd back-to-back set in 5 days and the 4th game. Their legs will be feeling like jello.

Nuggets are awful on the road though.

I don't have much confidence in them and neither do the oddsmakers.
The Spurs are favored to win with a 7.5 pt line.
