I don't care what sck has to say. Anyways you say you "roll with Crew" wink wink. If you gonna get mad and make threats because I called another dude a douche and the matter didn't even concern you. Its must mean one thing.
I think the Rowdies are an awesome addition to the Rockets. So awesome, in fact, that tons of other teams are copying the idea, sometimes spurred on by players (Bogut). I think they give is some modicum of home court advantage despite the lack of showing in the lower bowl for most games. That said, I could never be a Rowdy. I'm just not a loud person. I don't scream at games. I clap, sometimes chant, but never yell/scream (unless it's one of those "OMG" moments... like that 3OT Timberwolves game last season had several of...). I also don't really have a desire to sit near the Rowdies; too loud! I'm just not extroverted enough, I guess. But I can respect what they do and what they bring -- it's just not my cup of tea. I hope people realize there are different types of fans: those who overtly express themselves, and those who are a bit more quiet but love the team just as much. One is not necessarily better than the other. Thus, bashing one type of fan is silly! The funniest Rowdy moment (at least I think it was probably a Rowdy) was when one of 'em had a sign comparing Pau Gasol to an ostrich. It was genius.
