I don't get it man, why are you so mad at the Rowdies? Why in the world are you even calling them this? They aren't attention whores one bit but rather a group of people that want to cheer on the Rockets as loud as possible. They do get creative and just try to make different cheers, what is so bad about that? What exactly makes this attention whoring? I really don't get your logic because the very point of creating the rowdies is hoping to at least get one group of fans very loud and dedicated win or loss, blow out or no blow out. Some people like watching the game one way while others enjoy doing it another away. Personally, I love the way the Red Rowdies do it. I'm not fond of sitting at the game and just looking on. I don't think this makes you any less of a fan either.

Gotta agree with most of what you wrote. I do have respect for the Rowdies that go to different arenas to support the Rockets. All the hysterics though are over the top and a bit silly.
This thread has taken a very odd turn.... Anyways, props to representing up here. Me and the wife have done it on various occassion and I tells you those mavs fans are some whiney little tools. We aren't aggressive people but over the years we've both nearly gotten into fights with people at games, mainly back in 2005 during that playoff series when mavs fans started crossing the line. While the TC is much more relaxed I have had jerks complain to me about standing up during games in my usual seats. Mind you I don't stand the entire time but during big shots and whatnot.
I don't know what you are talking about but I didn't scare her away. If I did she wouldn't of wrote anything a couple hours after I made the thread rashdouche.
