This after Alonzo Mourning nearly hammered Kenyon Martin to the ground in pracice?

After Jason Kidd yelled at his coach in the lockerroom?

After Jason Kidd called Rogers a fat b*stard?

If there was a clique here, it's over now. They're probably not all friends and don't hang out, but trading Moochie sent the right message - we mean business.

For the last 3 years, from all accounts, the Kings have had a group of guys who get along as well as any team in the NBA. Conversely, the Lakers are probably the most clique-ridden teams in the same period.

You can be successful both ways.

We should definitely give EG a big "welcome" when he returns.

Yep. All you have to do is look at other championship teams; Lakers (Kobe/Shaq), Spurs (Duncan/Robinson), Bulls (Jordan/Pipppen/Rodman)...

Kobe and Shaq do NOT hang out.
    Ducan and Robinson did.
Jordan/Pippen did not hang out with Rodman.

It's not always a "Goonies bunch." Sometimes players are actually professional and do their own things after "work." Eddie is still thinking in terms of high-school. Eddie needs to grow up a learn a few things about the real world. What made matters worse is that Eddie never talked. Ever seen one if his interviews?. Introverted to the max!

I'm sure that is what it felt like to Eddie. When he was with the Rockets he probably got left out because he never talked and he was a minor, like it was pointed out before. He also may be a jerk 24-7 for all we know. Apparently no one really knows him.

The Nets are definetly making extreme efforts to integrate him into the team and help him move without too much added stress, so I'm sure that makes him feel good.

The real question will be how he feels a year from now if he is still in the NBA. After all of the goodwill wears off and he has to start proving himself on the court, will he still be a part of the team socially?

It's pretty pathetic that a grown man has to have his employers hire a wetnurse to hold his hand. And yes, Eddie Griffin is a grown man.

Eddie was always my least favorite Rocket, but now he's even moving up on the list of my least favorite Nets!

If the Nets were smart, they would have hired a 50-year-old grandma to take care of Eddie. :)

yes! his 1st game as a net in the toyota center the whole arena show go off on him every time is name is announced or he has the ball. BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
he may start crying...we may ruin all his psychologists hard work, helping him find his happy place.

and hopefully the betrayal and cheap shot after all his team mates rallying in defense for him will create some major trash talk on the court.

I read that artical, it pisses me off. We spent so much on Griffen and backed him up when he did stupid things. And yet he acts like the Rockets organization hasn't done sqwat for him.

    Euck Feddie!

Seriously though, dude has some mental stability problems. Isn't that when good scouting is suppose to come in? If I'm not mistaken the Rockets didn't even work EG out before we drafted him, it was like a blind stab at a potentially great player. I'm sure the Rockets staff have learned from this mistake and will move on a little more experienced.

I hate to be Eddie/NJ coming to play the Rockets anytime soon...

Not only was he a bust out of *negligence and laziness.* But he also joined the one single team we made the trade with on draft night...I mean, why the Nets Eddie! Why?!

From the tone of his comments. It's almost like he's blaming the Rockets orgazniation for HIS failures; by putting a guilt trip on us for "not treating him right."

I hope he doesn't pull a "Rashard Lewis" on us by procalming his "revenge" for not *picking/supporting* him...because that would just be plain wrong!

    Bad mojo, karma, etc...
