Morey.. We are not out of free agency..... we are in better position than most teams to do a sign and trade for a big name free agent.

Morey: By coming to an agreement with Sac... we forced Walsh to play his hand and we were essentially able to turn this into 2 deals

Morey saying exactly what some of us have been saying for days: the Rockets have a BETTER chance to sign a tier-one FA (re: Bosh) than they did even by letting Tracy's contract expire.

Morey basically said that Hill has played well in his limited minutes... they think he's already a good player with a lot of potential as well--great on the offensive and defensive boards, good mid-range jumper, developing post game... will have to earn his minutes this season but could have a big impact next season or as a trade piece.

Could you imagine this happening from the perspective of the Knicks? That would be so sick and wrong.

For us though that would be just wow. Wizard indeed.

the question then becomes what does toronto want that we have, and more importantly, that would equal a presumably max contract?

    scola, brooks, ariza?

I wasnt even aiming that at any one post in particular....the posts that came after I questioned your initial statement combined with some of the stuff I have read here over the last week or so is what prompted that moment of reflection.

If it strikes a chord with you....well, thats not my doing. ;)

Damn! Our future is bright as long as Daryl Morey is in charge! I can't wait for Saturday's game! Im excited about Hill, Martin, Armstrong, and hell even Jeffries! Looks like Hill won't be seeing anytime in the D-League!

Your the knicks trying to offer a max contract to do a sign and trade with Cleveland. What do they have left to trade for Lebron? Morey took everything including their manhood. Lebron isn't going to give up a max deal to sign with a team with nothing to trade back

Chris Bosh does not appear as though he will leave Toronto...he said he likes the team as it is today, he didn't want the Toronto GM to make any deals....out of the top 3 (wade, lebron, bosh) CB4 appears to be the least likely to move.

He's too tired for sex unless she's doing all the work. She should at least give him a great BJ though - no joking.

All's well. It was my post that was called nonsensical. But I'm being sensitive now. It's a bbs after all. But your explanation is a legit one. This past week (and every loss) has spawned fluff in the GARM.

Back on topic, I'm excited that Morey is looking at trading in the offseason. Let the rumors continue!

He'll regret that in a couple of years if that's his ultimate decision.
