Ricky Pierce, Nate McMillan, and Shannon Anderson always seemed to play great ball against us. Also Detlef Schrimp, Gary Payton, Perkins and pretty much the whole Sonics team.

IMO this GUY have transcendent the bench warming seats as no one ever before in Rockets history. he got buy-out cuz the rocket management found that he have a special towel that bring down the stamina of the team in a rally;they found out in a game against the lakers
Thanks to the amazing basketball-reference website, most these Rocket killers can be confirmed (at least for games after 1986). Can't measure big shots that killed us, but the raw numbers are documented: For example, let's look at Jason Terry: 1) http://www.basketball-reference.com/players/t/terryja01/splits/ His career splits, show he shoots .482 against the Rockets, the highest of any opponent (tied for Atlanta), and that's not including the playoffs. 2) http://www.basketball-reference.com...&c3val=&c4stat=&c4comp=gt&c4val=&order_by=pts His career regular season game log shows that in 13 of his 33 games against the Rockets, he scored 20+ points 3) http://www.basketball-reference.com...&c3val=&c4stat=&c4comp=gt&c4val=&order_by=pts And of course, he was pretty good against us in the 2005 playoffs...
Agree with the person who mentioned Sam Perkins. He'd come out looking like a superstar against us knocking down 3 after 3. I felt the Sonics were the only team in the 90s that truly had our number, sweeping our defending championship team in the playoffs. They just matched up really well against us: G Payton > K Smith H Hawkins < C Drexler K Schrempf > R Horry S Kemp > O Thorpe S Perkins > H Olajuwan On the other hand, we were probably the only team that truly had the Bulls number. Too bad we never met them in the playoffs as would have destroyed them. The greatest team my aXX.
Really? I saw a documentary on Abdul-Rauf not long ago on some cable channel. I don't understand or condone some of his actions, but I am glad to hear that he is drawing a paycheck somewhere.
His numbers are up across the board against us, if you believe it Al Jefferson Steve Nash (over the last two years, is averaging 20-10 against us) Mamoud Abdul-Rauf Deron Williams
The 76ers as a team over the last three seasons against the Rockets: 5-1 Kevin Garnett, I bet many on here do not remember a game against the T-Wolves, a few years back where KG essentially shut both Yao and T-Mac down. Paul Pierce (late in his career)
