Uh guys, I keep ending up with the 1st or 3rd pick in ESPN's lottery: http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/draft2006/index# 2.8% is a pretty good chance.
No, you just made a mockery of the game and the thousands of people who paid money to you to play it. Congrats, jackass.
The Rockets will have a 2.3% or 2.2% chance of getting the #1 ... not 2.8%. Those numbers are wrong -- they don't take in to consideration the ties. You can generate a lotto here with the correct numbers: http://www.clutchfans.net/nbadraft/lottery/generator/
Why am I keep getting Chicago Bulls as the #1 pick? Aren't they in the play-offs this year? Edit: never mind. So it's the knick's pick, LOL
They get the Knicks' first rounder this year as a result of the Eddy Curry trade - it should say that somewhere in the description.
i thought i'd run it only once. somehow the warriors got the #3 pick..ugh. i'll be pretty pissed if GS or Minny jump into the top 3..
Got the 3rd pick on the second try. Warriors got 3rd the first time. C'mon lady luck. I wouldn't mind putting $20 on the Rockets getting a top 3 if I get good odds. Let's see... 20 times 100, divided by 2.3...
The random Tie Breaker is done this Friday, April 21. It's a Coin toss. Its on the NBA webpage. Though I don't know if we send a representative, who we send, or if we even get to call the toss.
I got the Rockets #1 on my 20th try, and #2 and #3 a few times. I guess the odds are still fairly good to land us the top 3.
Actually, not that good. It is 8.05% to be exact, broken down as follows: 1st Pick: 2.25% 2nd Pick: 2.65% 3rd Pick: 3.15% Top 3: 8.05% Those percentages will shift a little after the tie breaker is settled.
I'm sure they are. It's taken much longer on previous attempts. It's funny though. On that attempt we had #1 and GS had #3.
