    Moe,

Yeah...I read in reverse too. I don't think I got to the thread you quoted as being about "On Paper", but my point is

On Paper means jack. That's why I didn't attempt to get into it with Sky Pilot about Paper.

That's my point...which isn't off base. Paper means nothing. The Nets with Martin clearly beat us on paper too. So what. And the Clippers with the #3 arguably have better paper than we do too.

On Paper...I'm not heyschweeties best core talent either. And Mollie dog isn't good On Paper either, that's why I have to take her for walks all the time.

    Isn't More Paper inflationary though?

    Moe,

I read more. The Breeze comment was alluding to a Clutch post of last week. We've been hit by some bored fans from other sites. We've been having fun with them. I think early in this thread Sky must have been thought as someone from Vancouver.

He's not. But he still went out jabbing on his own. I love it, personally. Lot better than rumor thread.

"Lighten up" is not really anything we are going to listen to around here. What does that mean Moe? Sounds too p.c. for my taste.

Guys who come and can handle abuse they knowingly feed, will get a great following. Just ask GIVE YOUR HEAD A SHAKE. But, if they come in playing and can't handle it, oops...obviously they are not very playful at their own fan site either. It's not much different than going to a bar and taking on everyone. You're either going to get chased out or get a honorary stool. Either way, the regulars are going to have fun regardless.

"lighten up" is not something we are going to listen to.

HP, you're just like my wife. You have to get the last word in. Or maybe the last two words in. Anyways, perception is everything, and there are plenty of people, including basketball players, who would make judgments based on what a team looks like "on paper". Your perception and my perception is not universal. I doubt our opinions mean crap to any of the guys about to get drafted. Sky Pilot does throw his opinions out as aggressively as you do, so he is probably fair game for you, as you are for others. I do enjoy your and his posts. Maybe "lighten up" is for the sheer number of posts that seemed to be attacking.

I Don't understand this "on paper" term used to compare teams, either. It's useless to compare teams "on paper". If it meant jack then the Rockets should of been 10-2, instead of 2-10 during the beginning, and Orlando certainly wouldn't of ended with a 41-41 record with cast of ink.

RB, as I understood it, the frame of reference for the term "on paper" was regarding whether a potential draft pick might want to play for any certain team based on their roster. "On paper" one team's roster may look more attractive to play with than another. Maybe "on paper" the Rockets looked like the desireable roster to play with for Pippen. "On paper", Pippen looked like a great acquisition for the Rockets. We all know how it worked out, unfortunately.

    Moe,

I really didn't read the whole thread until you told me to. You're right of course; he is as much right as anyone else.

Let me tell you a little bit about myself and how I approach posting sometimes. BTW: I usually have people sign Non-Disclosure Agreements before telling them. Part of my post is about getting some personality out of Sky Post--I call this "kick-back". Right and wrong is not the entire issue. I don't talk **** to win arguments; I do it to make friends. You can really never win arguments, because you can never really change someone's opinion. But you can use arguments to see into someone's personality. From my experience, that is what talking **** is all about.

The other reason I post is to get the last word in!

    cheers

Sky Pilot is a breath of fresh air. Hopefully he will stick around over the summer when all the fantasy talk REALLY gets out of hand.

By the way, the whole point of fantasy trade talk is to get the best team ON PAPER. If anybody is fascinated with simply acquiring talent, hp, it is the purveyors of fantasy trade talk, not people like Sky Temple Pilot.
