I think that Clyde will eventually get more comfortable and do just fine. As for Calvin, how could people want him back after what he was involved with? It's like putting O.J. Simpson on Monday Night Football, it shouldn't ever happen. Clyde was awful for his first time out, but give him time, he'll grow into it. Just like he wasn't popular when OT was traded for him, he proved the nay-sayers wrong after all.

Huh? Clyde has always been extremely popular. His performance has got nothin to do with his popularity. He's just not insightful, not engaging, and not entertaining. These are otherwise known as the qualities that make a good color man.

    Bring back Calvin!

After all's said and done, after 2 years I would like them to fire whoever and bring in a combo of HAKEEM and DIKEMBE. I would pay for cable just to listen to them even if the rockets are stinking it up big time.

Anyone who thinks a nice player can definitely make for a good commentator should be hung upside down so more blood can get to his brain. It seems to be what the Rockets staff's been thinking about!

Hopefully you don't ever get accused of a crime you did not commit, since, by your own way of thinking, merely being accused is enough to ruin the rest of your life, innocent or not.

Anyway, if we can manage to keep up the pressure all year long, and not simply surrender to the awfulness of Clyde, then Les may eventually see the light and BRING BACK CALVIN!!!!

Calvin didn't murder two people. He was promiscuous and a bad father, but that ain't against the law. Lopping two peoples' heads of ... THAT'S against the law.

I am OK with Glyde (I can't believe I am saying this) if it's only for THIS season, as long as when Jon Barry retires the Rockets offer him that job with Bill for good (he might even make you forget Calvin)

Hey, that's a good suggestion. I think JB would be a really good fit. The thing is, there is no indication from Fox or the Rox that this deal with Clyde is a one year gig. That dude gots to go. Stick with the BBQ.

Les should cough up more dough on Rocket's broadcasting and bring back Calvin with Bill. Have a Rocket's sportdesk halftime show, with Hagedorn, Jon Barry(when he retires), and Van Chancellor. And..! Make Bullard the floor commentator.

Good balance of BB whimsy and intelligence. :)
