Not sure why anyone would have expected different from clown silver, easily the worst commissioner in any sport since i was a kid, even worse then manfraud
Whatever happened with that crazy Mavericks toxic front office story? Then the drama between Cuban and Don Nelson not too long after... I remember at the time, NBA podcasters and other media members hardly mentioned it and it was sort of swept under the rug.. Wasn't mentioned at all during the Mavs WCF appearance last season.. Maybe all the Luka love outweighed all of it... Feels like it was the Rockets and Tilman, the media would've gone apeshit with the story if the Rockets were in the WCF
Here is some news, I don't care what Lebron thinks. Sarver's life as he knows it is over, this is a major penalty - as he got hit with a fast moving and changing culture. I have no sympathy for him - and am fine with Silver's ruling.....not that anyone should give two craps what I think either. DD
Homophobia and anti Semitism isn't so bad though, he's usually pretty quiet when players get caught up saying some s**t. He's also a big Deshaun Watson fan. The statement he made isn't wrong, but everything that comes out of LeHypocrite's mouth pisses me off.
Yeah, that was crazy how swiftly that was all swept under the rug. My guess is Cuban has a lot of friends in high places/influence.
Sarver can't continue on as owner. This was worse than Sterling, the league just already wanted Sterling gone before the racists phone comments ever happened and it gave them the excuse to be done with him. The other owners should be voting on forcing him out. And it isn't like it will end up bad for him, as he'll probably get around $2B for the team, which is 5 times what he bought it for.
Not sure if he is worse than Sterling. But both Sarver and Sterling are definitely on similar level of stinking wealthy men who think that because they have a lot of money, they are entitled to treat other people like things.
year suspension is real and 10 mil fine isn’t a joke .. even to billionaire. players have the right to tweet , but I didn’t see them tweet anything about Anthony Edwards (did they ?) and he hasn’t been punished at all . Sarver does have rights . We live in a capitalist society where if you pay the bills you have a outsized say . I’m sure there will be enough articles written about his horrible behavior that he will be even more known for being a piece of **** . That he got caught will hurt his ego among his inner group ... who prolly will not care what the media says
players don't turn on each other no matter what, don't recall anything about miles bridges, nothing about all the garbage draymond does to injure people, nothing matters to them if it's their own
