Especially when trying to put it in the context of the pointed and potentially politically biased questinos.
I think it's important to keep in mind that he is facing two issues with each question: 1) Whether they are accurately quoting the report 2) Whether they are trying to get him to say something to fit their political motives On each question he is trying to listen for both things. The first is the most difficult because he can't possibly know each line of the report, hell can't even know 25% of the report. If they quote the report he gets hung up on whether the quote is 100% accurate. That's why he keeps wanting citations and it's driving them nuts. They'd be better asking what the report says "generally" about an issue. Giving him direct quotes is going to force him to want to go to the report.
Jim Jordan is just talking to hear himself talk. Did he ask one answerable question? Mueller even stepped out of his bounds to tell Jordan that he disagreed with his characterization.
He doesn't need to say it. It's already documented that Trump acted in a way that meant to obstruct justice! He asked for Mueller to be fired, he asked sessions to unrecuse himself to stop the investigation, he's been coming at the investigation the entire time.
Mueller is amazingly non-partisan. He seems to be on a level above everyone else in the room in his conduct
Ken Buck: You believe he committed, you believe you could charge the president of the United States with obstruction of justice after he left office? Robert Mueller: Yes
