Robert Mueller, Former F.B.I. Director, Is Named Special Counsel for Russia Investigation

Why are they interviewing people when Cltchfans experts know there was nothing worth learning? That's what makes this a witch hunt.

Guilt by accusation seems to be your new standard of jurisprudence. That's an interesting perspective that takes us back around 4000 years to the time of the Babylonians and their king Hammurabi. What is known about the 'Russia' investigation is that we still don't know what's being investigated, everything breathless accusation put forward thus far has been rejected as fiction, and not a single shred of evidence of wrongdoing has been produced or leaked. What 'Russia' represents is the opportunity for blind partisans who have been brainwashed by an agenda-driven media to self-identify. It also represents an outlet to vent for the politically frustrated. History will judge these people as small, petty, and unable to separate emotional feelings from the ability to reason.

Yes, "we" as in the royal Trader_Jorge has no clue what could be possibly being investigated by the political partisans made up of life-long REPUBLICAN respected law enforcement and justice individuals. How can you trust the REPUBLICANS to pursue and investigate the REPUBLICAN president - they must be blind PARTISANS who are POLITICALLY FRUSTRATED.

History will indeed judge this to be a witch hunt - unlike the pursuit of Clinton for white water, when REPUBLICANS accused him of wagging the doll the first time he tried to kill OSAMA BIN LADEN.

Other than stringing along the rubes I don't see it as having much crossover appeal, insofar as it requires a 1984 "2+2=5" kind of mental state.

So for those of you who thought this was just an investigation into Trump or maybe just into Republicans, it now appears that this is not correct.

For all those who were against Mueller's investigation but are now for it, buckle up fellas.

What you apparently fail to understand is that most of us just want Mueller to come to the truth. It doesn't matter if that truth busts any group related to Podesta or not. I think Trump supporters and Trump's "non-supporters" who constantly defend and support Trump anyway will be shocked to learn that they believe it is much more of an 'us against them' than do the Democrats and most on the left.

I think most people just want to find out the truth and if that uncovers corruption from Democratic supporters then great as long as it all gets better. There is certainly some team mentality from the left as well, but it just isn't as strong despite what the conservative media outlets try and tell their patrons.

 

Bull-****. This whole thing is about the Democrat left trying to find a way to get Donald Trump after he had the audacity to beat their hand-picked candidate Hillary Clinton in the presidential election last November. By any means necessary. This has been an outpouring of partisan rage directed at a man that you guys loathe beyond any other and away from a candidate who lost because she was inferior to Trump, plain and simple. That is true even if you guys continue to refuse to admit it.

To the extent that this investigation turns out to be a narrowly focused investigation of the involvement of politicians and political types with the Russians during the last election, I say great. Anyone who is truly guilty should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.

But that was never the focus from the Democrat left and their media hack enablers. The coverage has been something we might have expected out of Salem in the witch trials during the 1600's. Completely unhinged, maximum volume, get the b*stard and hang'em high. It has been a virtual media lynch mob.

We still don't know how this is going to go yet. The "no knock," middle of the night search of Manafort's home was a VERY bad look for a special investigator who presumably wants to present himself as a professional out ONLY for justice. Maybe that was a one-time thing and Mueller has put a stop to that sort of behavior now, but we will see.

Anyway, you are FOS. This has been a public partisan vendetta against Trump up until recently, as you know very well. If you are saying that you and many others who share your perspective have changed your tune now that the months have passed and you have had time to cool down, I will take your word for that until I see something to contradict it going forward. But looking backwards, that has absolutely not been the case.

 

It's not a witch hunt there following the money trail all the way back to the top.

 

I hate podesta but this is bullshit. Mueller has zero restraints and unlimited resources.

That said I have no problem with Mueller looking into relevant activities by Democrats. This sounds like he is looking into other groups like Manafort's that filed Foreign Agents Registration Act (FARA) If there is a connection to Manafort's actions and / or other violations under FARA I think it would be in the public interest to hear it.

The left wants a democracy, where normal people can vote, non suppressed, on ethical leaders who will act in the best interest of their constituents.

The fact that you can't accept that your political party is basically just a corrupted and evil, good old boys club, is your own damn problem.
