Robert Mueller, Former F.B.I. Director, Is Named Special Counsel for Russia Investigation

This whole exercise has been a complete disgrace. This effort to overthrow President Trump, a duly elected President of the United States, was instigated during the Obama administration by weaponizing of our Department of Justice, the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the FISA Courts, with the willing cooperation of the Democrat left mass media. This is far and away the greatest political scandal in American history, bar none.

If the crimes perpetrated in this failed coup attempt are not pursued, with the perpetrators brought to justice, our nation's system of justice will continue to be deeply distrusted - and rightfully so - by anyone with any integrity and sense. This could not be more serious and it must be attended to.

 

Like it’s been pointed out we don’t know what the final report will say and after yrs and millions of tax payers money being spent and the total biased investigators you would think they will have some dirt, we will see. I would like to see all of the swamp withstand a tenth of the scrutiny and see how they come out.

How did the Russians interfere in the U.S. election?

 

Do you really think that Mueller cares about making a show? The guy has run one of the most leak-free investigations in history, has been professional the whole time, hasn't been grandstanding at all and is a Republican in his personal life and non-partisan professionally. I don't think the timing of the report means anything either way.

 

Wait... For the past 12 hours you guys have been flipping over backwards in celebration of supposed Mueller exoneration... now you are saying to not believe what it says??

Talk about trying to have it both ways.

 

The best news that could come from this report is that Trump in no way was willing to work with the Russians in their espionage attacks interfering with our elections. That would be best for the country.

What we know is that there was no way the report would ever have an indictment against the President regardless of the evidence. That is true since that is the DOJ policy. Mueller works for the DOJ, so that would not have been included no matter how strong the evidence is.

We will have to wait and see what the report actually contains. The good news is that we weeded out some bad actors found corruption, uncovered Russian interference.

The bad news is that because of Trump's unwillingness to stop the interference, it continued with other nations joining in on the effort during our recent elections.

 

It turns out that asking Roger Stone if WikiLeaks has more information, is not a crime.

This has been so thoroughly documented in the public sphere that your question cannot be sincere. If it doesn't bother you, that's your odd choice, but you can't live in reality and pretend it didn't happen.

It’s just amazing these attempts to rewrite reality and having to restate very very very basic facts over and over again. I feel like we are at war with fact with this new generation of “create your own reality”.

I can see how it’s easier to just ignore it though. It’s exhausting keep restating facts I have to admit.
