    The both say the meeting happened, but one says August and the other November/December. Simpson might be intentionally deceptive on the timing. But I haven't followed the Fusion GPS scandal like I have the Trump scandal, so can you explain why it is significant whether Fusion GPS spoke with the FBI during the election?

    The truth is the R Senate don’t want impeachment. They want Mueller’s findings white washed and this whole thing to go away.

    The R’s in the House are extreme in nature so they want the findings out there because they think the battle and impeachment would be good for them. Jim Jordan is basically the party leader at this point and wants the gloves to come off and the fight to begin. They want their chance to defend Trump, and take on the deep state.

    Lindsay is basically the one saying I’ll jump on the grenade here for my party. Spare everyone the fight over Trump impeachment and try to move the party onto other things.

    I think it’s foolish but I get what he’s trying to do. He thinks the country and his party are better off burying the truth. That “you can’t handle the truth!”
