Well, according to acting fbi director whitaker's wife, Mueller's investigation is over soon. How she knows?

So cohen's sentencing statement included the accusation that he was directed by trump ("in accordance to Client-1 directives") to lie to congress, which seems to corroborate the BuzzFeed reporting...

 

You are perhaps right it would be better for him to be president for almost two more years and be elected out.

What if the Democrats end up with another awful candidate and Trump is reelected? Nothing is certain. I know it is not clear cut and dry. But either Trump did something worthy of being impeached or he didn't. I personally hope he did. And if his children are guilty of crimes I hope they don't get out of it. Again only if they did though. If everything was legal, and last night's report was false. Then more power to them. I highly doubt it though.

More fake news. So, how many mass media outlets picked this up and ran with it like Carl Lewis at the Olympic games?

Or maybe it would be quicker to count the number that didn't.

I kind of assumed it was BS when it first came out for 2 main reasons.

1. That BuzzFeed reporter has a history of pushing outright lies.

2. If Cohen actually had anything on the president with legs he'd have gotten immunity.

 

Actually, it will be interesting to learn what parts were accurate, and what parts were not. For example, cohen's sentencing statement clearly states:

 

I think this simply adds to the need for complete transparency of Mueller's final report. For the sake of everyone, including trump's defense.

 

MSNBC is doubting the special council's statement. LoL

 

Anybody with two functioning brain cells doubts reports like this by MSNBC.

 

How could they? That’s a pretty finely crafted statement. It takes away anything it wants (even materially......nothing) from Buzzfeed, while at the same time it offers absolutely nothing from the special council. It’s all smoke and mirrors.

Mueller doing the proper thing which will buy credibility from the Right, just so when he actually releases the report neither side can dispute his findings for being partisan.

 

befpore I go do dishes... two quick thoughts. First, nothing the special counsel released in its statement exonerates trump. The BuzzFeed reporting may still be accurate (at least the part about cohen claiming trump directed him to lie). Its quite possible Muelller is trying to slow the roll as they say.

Second, odd that with this one statement from Meuller, some trump supporters reappear as if its safe to post again.
