It would appear that Donald Trump has a casual disregard of the law. I am guessing that this is not uncommon for the top 1%.

Now we'll never know. But given the way white women managed to get over the Access Hollywood tape and vote for him anyway, I think he would have survived a Daniels/McDougal scandal too.

Agreed, I just don't think he was aware of that. I'm not sure he thought he would survive the Access Hollywood tape or expected to win anyway.

I'm not a fan of Trump or Hillary, but the fact is...

There are people out there that HATE Hillary more than they love Trump and I don't think Hillary would have won no matter what..

It's not that Trump won, it's more about the fact that Hillary lost...

"no matter what..." is pretty strong statement that isn't grounded in data.

The election effectively was decided by about 100k people among the 3 closest states (Wis, Mich, Pa) that all went for Trump (by a total margin of 107k people). Trump won Wis by 27k (0.5%), Mich by 11k (0.1%), Pa by 68k (0.6%). If those 3 went to Clinton, she would have won the electoral votes and be President now. Clinton also won the popular vote by nearly 3M votes (2%).

I would said any single event could have swung the election toward Clinton. The facts is multiple factors went for Trump - the FBI reopening the email investigation very late in the election cycle, the Russian effort to push the election to Trump, and even Trump paying $ to bury negative stories. Any one of them not happening could have easily changed the result.

Clinton was a bad candidate, but the facts remain that she barely lost and there are plenty of reasons to see now that Trump have a lot of significant external help, at least one of which is illegal.

Facts don’t change after graciously concede.

I also understands that only one thought can occurs at any given moment, but one thought doesn’t exclude the others. In the same way, conceding doesn’t exclude the fact of a razor thin result with external help, and with at least one illegal act from the winning party. I also understand that some cannot stand those facts - Trump as a prime example.

agree. but constantly whining after the fact (and I'm not saying YOU'RE whining in this case) is not a good look for the Democrats

In other times, this might have been considered witness intimidation or obstruction of justice... in trump's presidency, its simply considered a tweet...
