    Maybe it's due to his recent comment about being "the voice" of the team which rubbed me the wrong way but why in the hell was Kenny Smith putting this topic up for a vote at the time? Did Vernon basically quit on the team? Yes, but at worst, Vernon was on the roster and played like 60 games that year for Houston. If you needed player input it should have been "Dream, should we get Vernon a ring?" and that's your decision right there.
