I don't dispute that one must earn a ring.

What I'm saying is that tmac was not seriously asking for one of his rings. It was a joke. Then bob reacted kinda dickly.

what these tquakers don't know is that Robert was a very vital part of the Rockets championships. In 95, you could argue he was the 2nd best player, all those steals, 3s, blocks.

He had to guard all the tough PFs like Barkley, Malone, Grant, Oakley

He played D and hit clutch shots.

I appreciate Horry, I met him several times and we always talk about the old days.

    Whaa??

The host said he had 7, could he give McGrady one, and then Bob joked about it, and McGrady cried like it was opening night of the 2nd round and he was home in his jammies watching (again)

I saw that but Mac mumbled after that "can I have one"? Then bob began his speech.

Stay classy Horry, looks like his time in LA helped him get that Kobe level of smug.

I thought it was hilarious and I repped the guy who said that Tmac probably said "it's on me" under his breath. I became a rockets fan around 03-04 so T-Mac arrived right after I became a fan. I adored him as a player and I can objectively submit that his (and the Rockets) first round exits in those years was a disappoint. So yes, the clip was hilarious...

...but leave it to tinman to suck the fun right out of the thread with his constant bashing. It weakens the entire forum.

i guess a lot people just have a short memory and forget all the shows that T-Mac put up.

It is true that he never took us further in the playoffs. It is something we can't change. However, No matter what the results turned out, he has devoted himself those years for the Rox. it is either personality fault, it is either injuries fault, he had put up quite some shows and excites for us. Were you praying for the Rox those years? Were you cheering up for the show from T-Mac in those years?

Now he is retired, should not we come around and appreciate what he has done for us?

The extreme hate will never help you.

Yup all show no go. He was never "Devoted" to the Rockets if he were why would he wished he never left Toronto?

Horry was probably right, but that was a bit classless and not becoming of a "champion" for him to say it like that. Tracy may be a loser, but that doesn't mean Horry should have been a douche about it.
