    An environmental lawyer who's dad soearheaded civil rights enforcement, gave an impromptu speech the night MLK was killed and himself was assassinated on the home stretch to derail the Khmer Rouge Watergate timeline would have been a great pick, right up until his ex committed suicide, and his current wife had to issue a press release distancing herself from his COVID protocols comparisons to Anne Frank, who died of a typhus outbreak. Even more annoying when he could have probably moonwalked into a Congressional, Senate or governor's seat 30 years ago

    I think it's the hard truth that with folks like Hillary Clinton and Biden you get something instead of nothing, opposed to folks like AOC and Bernie.

    As Ned Flanders said, "...my family can't live in good intentions".

    Most folks on the left rightfully hate Obama and Clinton and rightfully so. They were corporate neoliberal democrats who pushed the same trickle down economics from Regan era.

    Biden is governoring nothing like Obama and bernie bros and folks on the left can't grasp that concept. Biden is the pushing the most progressive agenda any POTUS could be pushing. This is a hard fact that folks on the left can't grasp.

    Biden isn't Obama. There's nothing Marianne Williamson could push that biden can't do the same. Biden political nominees have been progressives.

    Meh, it's all hindsight. I thought Obama miscalculated on ACA and used way too much political capital on it instead of a larger stimulus.

    Biden has eyes and ears and saw how GOP radicalism increased under Obama and further increased under Trump. He knew he had to govern a certain way.

    Sure. My only concern with Biden is his age. You can point to all the things that Biden is doing right now at the age of 80, but he has to go through another campaign and another 4 years to reach the finish line. I think a lot of folks are going to be concerned, even folks that are very sympathetic towards Biden's accomplishments.

    I agree with you 100% that it's on bidens team to prove that his age isn't an issue. He has to prove he's fit enough and that's on his team. That's a valid concern. I don't think Biden would've ran if it wasn't for trump. Trump is his same age and 100lbs bigger.

    My point was I don't think alot of lefties especially bernie bros are aware of how much change has happened. They view Biden as some extension of clinton/Obama which isn't true. I just don't understand why lefties don't argue with facts instead of vague nihilism.

    Biden folks are not governoring anything remotely like that of obama nd Clinton.

    I perused his twitter since he's been complaining about being censored and mischaracterized. From his own words, I find particularly his position on the response to the pandemic to be dangerous to the point that I don't even care if he might have a good take in any other sphere.
