Agree. There is more than one party in the republican party. Plus a starkly different democratic party. He just doesn't have an ideological home in either party but wants to say it's on them and not on him.

I am actually shocked by those numbers, but my biggest question for him and folks like No Labels.............WHY???? You will not win now, you will not win tomorrow, you simply don't have the support. At the end of the day all your doing is crippling one of the parties as you siphon off votes.........maybe that's the real plan. I am all for grass roots effort but that takes a long time and you have to "build your brand", you don't decide to run the Boston Marathon and train for a week...........it takes time to build up your stamina. When Ross Perot did it many moons ago, it was like, "awwwww.....that is so cute, the little guy is trying to make a difference" but in the end he was merely a blip on the political landscape

Well, he's going to get richer and play a spoiler role. It's too bad we don't have RCV.

    For RFK, it's about money.

No Label is a Republican front.

I guess that's something to appreciate about actual third party candidates -- their parties will actually stick around for more than one cycle. Not that they're making any progress either.

This is interesting because I actually think this opens the door to RFK winning a state and ultimately throwing the election to the House if the national race is close.

Imagine a baseline of: Biden 55, Trump 45 in Colorado.
Then add a popular RFK (ala Ross Perot): he takes more from Trump than Biden, but he appeals to crazies on both sides: Biden 49, Trump 36, RFK 15. (takes 6% from Biden and 9% from Trump)

Now ... take Trump off the ballot, and he strategically pushes all his supporters to RFK: Biden 49, RFK 51.

Just got to find this elusive "popular RFK."

Whatever they are, they still are making RFK look like an idiot.

He is the candidate and he is benefitting from their advertising (in these two cases, lies). I know taking responsibility is hard for maga republicans...

Well, I never did. But, I wouldn't say the mistakes or lies of this organization are no reflection on RFK or his campaign. He seems to have associated with amateurish or dishonest people, which speaks to his own judgement and professionalism.

You don't have to look far:

    https://www.realclearpolling.com/po...24/trump-vs-biden-vs-kennedy-vs-west-vs-stein

He's polling in double digits in the polls that include him. Average of 13%. My example had him at 15% in Colorado.

He's being financed largely by conservatives. If Trump is off the Colorado ballot, I expect he would just camp out in Colorado for the next 10 months and try to win a state, which would be a monumental achievement for a 3rd party candidate and win him a lot of favor with his donors and Trump supporters and get him the attention he craves.

Trump better watch out. At this rate, he's going to win over lots of Jan 6 sympathizers.
