Really sorry to hear that but glad that you and your family are OK. My house got robbed two years ago, I was out of town so didn't confront the robbers, but like other posters have said material things can be replaced your life and safety cannot.

Oh boy, this is not good, I also live in Pearland. Do you live on the East side or the West side? It seems this kind of thing can happen just about anywhere. Glad to hear you were not harmed, but I can only imagine how frightening the experience must have been.
The op was the victim of a robbery, you were the victim of a burglary. The the op I would say you need to keep your gun in a better spot so you can more easily access it.
Glad youre okay man. It's hard to get over actually....that happened to my parents 3 years ago now in the Willowbrook area. I was coming home from a Rockets/Nuggets game around 2 am or so. Saw 3 cop cars outside my house. I was scared ****less. My mom still hates being home by herself. She sits with the alarm on....
I am sure that those jotos will re-appear somewhere nearby. Be on the lookout, man. I never forget a face, much less when someone does some crap like that to me. Once, some dude stole my bike (no, I wasn't selling Chiclets, MoBalls) and he turned around to see if I was looking, and I caught a glimpse at his face. Big mistake. I described him to some security guy nearby, and he said he knew the guy. Double mistake. How can you be so dumb as to be a known person with the cops or security guard, and do stupid crap like this? He admitted he stole it, and brought the bike back to my house and apologized to my parents. Thanks, man, now I have to go PP again.

Dang man, that's scary. Glad you and your family were unharmed. Were you able to give a good description to the cops about their looks? I'm sure those guys will turn up again in the area. Criminals are morons.....the second they get away with one crime, they go and commit another.
