Does the NBA need a 'challenge' flag like the NFL?

I am absolutely sick of it. I am not one to usually lay the blame at the feet of refs, as good teams don't let themselves get into 'those' positions, but come on.

    Enough is enough!

These phantom superstar calls have cost us 3-4, possibly more, games this season. It is absolutely ridiculous that Dirk Nowitzki doesn't even get touched, but the whistle puts him at the line to win he game.

Hats of to McHale and our team for shrugging it off and almost pulling this one out of the fire. (was I the only one screaming FOUL HIM FOUL HIM! At the end?)

Maybe we need a ref challenge flag as in football, to help curb these phantom calls, (flops too)

I was going to say that these calls always go against us, but then I remembered that we don't have CP3, Durant, Dirk or Duncan.

Your thoughts, and feel free to vent thine anger.

The poor officiating favoritism towards superstars and flopping is really ruining the game...NBA has become the WWE!!!

if he touched dirk's face, which by the lack of lee complaining i'm guessing he did, then it's a foul, plain and simple. poking one's face is enough of a distraction to cause a missed shot.

we didn't execute down the stretch of regulation (or OT, really), and still had a chance to win.

tough loss, but this one ain't on the refs.

    1. Courtney Lee did complain, and he had every right to

    2. Courtney wasn't even close to touching Dirk's face. Hell, he wasn't even close to touching Dirk's arm. The scratch on Dirk's face came from Scola's hook shot way earlier in OT.

Rewatch the sequence. Lee doesn't even touch Dirk.

Stop trying to be cool and not blame the refs when it was clearly a terrible call.

Those three first round picks will be bench players hanging out with Morris because of Morey's inability to swap his never-ending cycle of assets for a big time player.

We will not get any "superstar calls" because we do not have a "superstar". Superstar have been getting calls like this forever (at least since the 70's when I started watching b-ball) . It is frustrating, but it is part of the game. Unfortunately we don't have a superstar so we can even things out a little bit. :(It is starting to look like we will never have a superstar again:(.

Refs are clearly biased against Houston...It couldn't be anymore obvious even when we had Yao & Tmac...we didn't get superstar calls...the way players would hack at Yao Ming...and no fouls called was a travesty...Refs hate the rockets. Period!

What do you think of having a 'challenge flag' as in NFL?

    Still in disbelief.

They were terrible all night. Pretty sure we know who they put their money on.

Those assholes are probably calling their bookies right now to cash in.

Anybody have video of that phantom Dirk call?

    Seriously. Well said.

I'd rather give NJ the 16th/17th pick than have the 14th and owe them a lotto protected pick in the future.

    Stupid people are stupid.
