I would propose: take a ROCKETS jersey, put it on, take a photo with the same pose, same facial expression. At another landmark spot, put on the jersey, and do the same. Do this everywhere you can show people a ROCKETS' fan has been to these places. It's the least you can do for us ROCKETS fans that can't do this for whatever reason (family, work, school, etc.).
Great itinerary, you have put a lot of thought into this. Just a couple of points to keep in mind. I just got back from vacationing in the Fl. keys. The drive from Miami to Key West may take longer than you think, there is one road and the traffic can really slow things down. Make sure you are there for sunset at Mallory Square, lots of fun street shows to see. A great cave to see is Carlsbad Caverns in NM, it should be pretty much right on your way (plus you can see Roswell at the same time). Durango, Co. might be a good addition in that area. San Diego would be worth the extra time. And while you are in the Seattle/Victoria area, make sure you spend some time in the San Juan Islands. You should be able to ferry hop your way across some of them on the way between the two cities. San Juan Island has a great state park where you can watch the orcas swim by. Have fun, it sounds like a great adventure.
No, I'm in Houston. I went to Denver a couple of years ago. One of the places we visited their was Mt. Evans and remember reading the road to the top is only open a few months out of the year!
