Horrible. Been a big fan of his playing all the way back to his Alanis Morrissette days before he got his big break with the Foos. That's him in the You Oughta Know video.

Of course I never met him, but always felt a little connected with him since he has said many times that his all time favorite band is The Police. I have a friend that works in an arena and they were always told not to look the talent in the eye while they're working. She accidentally looked at him (gasp!) as he was walking down a hallway - then quickly looked away. He turned around and introduced himself, asked her name, talked for a bit and then posed for a few pictures. He told her if she got fired, he would take care of it.

Almost every picture or video I've ever seen of that guy playing, he was always smiling. So sad...

I'll never forget how he wore his dress shirts with the crazy open collar exposing his upper chest. Did he take that from the John Travolta character in Saturday Night Fever?

Per the previous post...cool story, bro.

The last show. It's hard to watch considering he dies several hours later.

    RIP man.

Two Taylor Hawkins tribute concerts have been announced with lineups...one in London and one in Los Angeles. Alex Lifeson and Geddy Lee of Rush appear to be performing in some unknown capacity. Would be awesome if they performed together for the first time since the last Rush concert! Would be cool if Grohl sat in on drums and played with them.
