Apparently so. They had personal beef, so i get it, but it's in just awful taste.... which has pretty much always been his style.
Politics aside, my opinion has always been that the first duty of the President should be to unify the country and provide some sort of moral compass as a figurehead that is representative of The People. I guess I'm a "get off my lawn" old man type at 38, but the world has jumped the shark and spun out of control, in a weird way. I wonder how we ever get it back? RIP to the Reiner's. I didn't know their political alignments, or that they were the enemy of Washington, but sadly, now I do.
It's easy to say, but when there is personal beef between 2 people and the irresponsible rhetoric by one of them is a contributing factor to nearly getting the other murdered and that type of rhetoric ACTUALLY leads to others murdered, not just anyone is going to completely choose the high road. It's hard to pull things back once things go too far and it won't be a quick process. Right now we're in the Diddy vs 50 Cent era of politics, and if you saw 50 Cent gloating a bit about Diddy getting shanked in prison it should probably be expected. Hopefully we can move on from this era of politics that has dominated the last 20 something years and move on to something more respectable.... but we didn't get here overnight and we won't move on overnight either.
