Hope you found your perfect day Mr. Reed <iframe width="420" height="315" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/ZSLid-0cUcI" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
I cannot believe the influence he had on music and on so many people. Listened to the first Velvet Underground album twice this afternoon. RIP Lou Reed. Music needs someone in your footsteps.

Ive been saying that for a couple years. The entire entertainment world even. We've had them spaced out to tolerable levels, but that pace cant keep up forever lol RIP Lou Reed

Just thought it was a little too early to let Lou's memory fade here in the BBS. I actually had a dream about this song last night. This live version in particular! Dick Wagner and Steve Hunter really bring it! <iframe width="560" height="315" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/298FDuOPNIM" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
As far as covers go, this is one of my favorites: <iframe width="420" height="315" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/EkYVrZQuens" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
Patti Smith and Lou Reed were two of many reasons twenty years ago I moved to NYC on a bus from Texas with a back pack, a guitar case, two boxes of clothes and a $1000 in my pocket.
Thanks. So appropriate it was Dylan Thomas' bday. Sunday morning (equally appropriate) was hard for me. Never have I been so affected by someone I never met face to face. But I knew him well, and it always felt like he knew me 20 years before I was born. I've been in a fog all week, it seems. He was my mirror, reflected what I was, in case I didn't know.
