    Personally I think its kind of sad Scientology and South Park has overshadowed a great career.

    I have to agree to a point, but the again those were the choices he made. Hopefully he will be known more in the future for his music and film career.

    One of my favorite scenes in I'm gonna git you sucka, is him trying to sing Grazing in the Grass by the Friends Of Distinction and messing up the words. Jim Brown tells him to be quiet!!! because it's aggravating his feet. Hayes says something like " I can't help it if you don't like my melodious voice". :D

    alot of people wouldn't know who he is though. now kids who may never known about his influence on current music will learn more about him.

    Isaac Hayes died of a stroke

    The recently deceased Isaac Hayes apparently passed away from a stroke, according to his family doctor.

    The soul legend was found unconscious at his home in Memphis, and Hayes' family physician, Dr. David Kraus, lists the cause of death as a stroke. Dr. Kraus told police that he had been treating Hayes for high blood pressure.

    Hayes is best-known for his Oscar-winning theme to Shaft, and he also provided the voice of Chef, the school cook, on animated TV show South Park.
