Geoffrey Lewis died. He was 79 years old.

He was probably best known for playing Clint Eastwood's sidekick named Orville Boggs in the "Every Which Way But Loose" movie and sequel.

He's done a lot off stuff in TV and film...mostly in a supporting role.

I came to know him from his appearance in "Salem's Lot" (1979) and the Clint Eastwood films.

Lesser known to me all this time is that he was Juliette Lewis's father.

I always enjoyed his performances and thought he stood out.

    He will be missed. RIP

I thought the sidekick in Every Which Way But Loose was the orangutan? Kidding. :)

I always liked the characters he played, r.i.p.
