This is nothing new, in Hollywood or the entertainment business in general. Its very possible that Lee pitched the whole "Kung Fu" and WB just ran with it. Last I checked, you can't sue for somebody stealing your idea. Plus its the 70s, I'd like to see the legal system back then compared to now. Seriously, you hardly see Asians in a lead role in 2009, you think they would have gave it to Lee back then? I'll take his wifes word for it. If there was someone that knew about this whole situation, it would be her.
A Thai tabloid published a picture from the scene. You can find it if you look hard enough, most of the body is blurred out. The strange thing is that his hands are tied above his head which I don't see how it was possible for him to do that by himself.
Bangkok is a crooked city, I'm pretty sure the authorities are covering up their tracks just to protect the hookers and mob that run the place..
that just changes up the story...he couldn't have done it by himself. i agree with the family asking for FBI's help.
I guess it's too soon for any wise cracky comment. Weird death. I hope he's resting at peace at the very least.
this is one f'ed up way to leave your legacy. forget kung fu. unfortunately, this is how he's going be remembered.
Same thing nearly happened to her when she was investigating the Kumite until he stepped in to save the day
Autopsy says no suicide LOS ANGELES — The independent forensics expert who examined David Carradine’s body says the actor didn’t commit suicide, and Carradine’s brothers are asking for understanding as Thai authorities investigate. Keith and Robert Carradine say they’re grateful for the outpouring of support during what they call a “profoundly painful time.” In a statement read Thursday in Los Angeles, they also thanked U.S. and Thai authorities for their work. The family also released a statement from Dr. Michael Baden (BAH’-den), who said Carradine’s death wasn’t a suicide. He said further information from Thailand is needed for a final determination. Carradine was found dead a week ago, hanging in a closet of a Bangkok hotel room. Police initially suspected his death was a suicide, but had since said it may have been accidental suffocation or heart failure after revealing he was found with a rope tied around his wrist, neck and genitals.
