A lot of factors that led to his suicide, of course. I don't blame her for his death. I just wish he never got involved with this awful person.
Yeah, it's pretty clear she's a little messed up. Even if she's transferring what happened to her onto someone else (abuse begets abuse), and I do say if, it doesn't excuse her behavior in the least, and of course makes her a gigantic hypocrite. The whole thing is sad and sordid.
Have you read his book Kitchen Confidential? I feel the same way about Bourdain. I read his book after his death and it was great. Also check out his series The Layover. It ran 1 or 2 seasons and was on Netflix for a while but it is gone now. I am sure you could stream it somewhere.
