I am a Jew, I am a student, I am currently living in Israel, but most of all I am a Houston Rockets fan. Furthermore, I can tell you that this article is just another one trying to paint Israel in the worst light as possible. Israel is a country that just wants peace and nothing more. If Israel could open its borders without dozens if innocent lives being taken for little to no reason they would. However we all know that isnt the way things work over here. These Rabbis are not the ones who run the country and have no-say over the IDF or the Head of State Netanyahu. Please people stop the hate for no mere reason.

So you don't hate Israelis and Jews who have have nothing to do with these rabbis? After living here for 5 months I have heard that the parliment is having a battle with rabbis and ultra-orthadox Jews over similar issues.

I don't hate Jews that have nothing to do with those Rabbis. I don't hate all Israelis either.

Do you hate Palestinians? Do you hate Muslims? Do you hate Arabs?

...So we build a fence and treat other Humans as if they are animals?

The "However" in your statement is what stops humanity for every society and allows evil to spread.

We want to be nice, However we know if we are nice they will take over.

The thing is that even though they have no official control over the IDF, it's possible that these magazines are read by soldiers and they could take it upon themselves to kill innocents based on what the rabbis said (as has happened many times before, but they always manage to say it was accidental). Also, it has an affect on the younger generation of readers who have these thoughts instilled in them, that Palestinians need to be exterminated. So when they grow up they have this mentality that will make it even more difficult for the future generations bring peace in that region.

No I do not hate all Palestinians, Muslims, and Arabs. In fact I played on a basketball team with only Palestinians and I volunteer at a Muslim school.

Furthermore, the fence isn't there to allow evil to spread its to try to create peace. Think about, its been about 3 years since there has been a suicide bombing and its been about 3 years since the fence has really made a difference. I think Gaza does need to be made bigger but the PLO needs to take control and stop Hezbellah and Hamas from controlling it. Since the beginning of Israel there has never been peace and it seems almost impossible to reach. I wish that things didnt have to be the way they are over here but until we find a way to reach forever peace...

If the idea we've heard from the ISraelis is land for peace, why haven't there been any moves to give up more land for the 3 years without the bombings? Why is Israel still trying to build even more settlements?

There are definitely problems from Israel's opponents as well. But part of the problem is that Israel hasn't lived up to its obligations even during times when the Palestinians have.

They continue to keep building more settlements, despite their pledge of land for peace and to ease restrictions.

It is hard to expect the Palestinians to agree to anything when Israel doesn't live up to its obligations.
