I'm asking because the articles seem to try to paint Israel (of which I am no fan) in the worst possible light, by quoting parts of this editorial (but not providing the whole text -- if someone has it, please post), and by highlighting how influential it might be. I don't doubt there are virulent racist rabbis in Israel who want to kill the Palestinians. But, I don't trust these articles are trying to give us an accurate picture of their reach in Israeli society.

It feels like if I were to go to the American Renaissance website (to pick on a recent villain) and republish the most hateful thing there I could find, and then point out that this website is visited by thousands of people, including some disaffected teenagers. AR might have actually inspired a couple of murders in it's time, and these rabbis too, but are either of these really as big as all that? Seems like an issue for the police, not foreign nationals like me.

Good point...even the "moderate" news sources in the Arab world are so full of hate against jews that it is not surprising that many of the posters here with Arabic roots or connections are anti-semites, and many of their posts show it.

i was born in Beirut, grew up in West Africa, schooled in Paris & now call Houston home. My roots are definitely from that part of the world (in fact my aunt has been a fixture on arab television since the last century).

The question was 'why are you such a raging anti-Semite?'. Because that's what everyone who has ever criticized a single Jewish person or called into question the actions of the Israeli government or military are to ATW.

You have to understand the ATW logic.

You are speaking out against the atrocities of certain Jews. The rest of the Jews in the world haven't all gotten on television and denounced these extremists for ATW to witness, therefore every Jewish person is just as responsible because it is an inherent flaw in Judaism. Thus, you hate all Jewish people.
