My 3 worst moments in franchise history:

    3. Right now. It sucks. We are low. Attendance is awful. Bummer.

    2. November 2, 1999 - Rockets lose to the Bucks in the first game of the season. Their nearly 5-year sellout streak ends. The first arena referendum fails by 10 points.

    1. Moses Malone is traded to Philly. That horrible season that came after was miserable!

Yes, this year's team was boring. Why? Look at some of the players who were in heavy rotation much of the time:

    Tierre Brown
    Jason Collier
    Oscar Torres
    Dan Langhi

Our typical starters were supposed to be our bench this year, and the players who were our bench were not supposed to be in the rotation.

All things considered, the team was very competitive until the end of the season, won 29 (+/-) games.

Being a good/great team takes a great deal of good fortune, and we had that from the mid-80's through the end of the 90's.
If we think these three years are lean years, look at the drought some of the currently competitive teams went through while we were having our glory years.

    Philadelphia 76ers
    Boston Celtics
    New Jersey Nets
    Dallas Mavericks
    Sacramento Kings
