    * Adelman playing the starters far too many minutes--- RIDICULOUS!

    * Not playing NOVAK at all-- RIDICULOUS!

    * Taking out BJAX who was on a hot streak and replacing him the cold as ice, atrocious-performing Rafer --RIDICULOUS!

    * More than anyone else, Adelman has cost us the game!

He's a terrible defender, terrible ball handler, slasher, rebounder, and he's terrible and many other things too. He can only be used when there is a team that has an equally bad offensive player or rebounder for him to play against. They can also use him in spot miniutes but if he was on the court against the suns, they would immediately took the ball right at his poor defense.

    RIDICULOUS!!

this argument makes no sense since Rox defense was terrible to non-existent against Celts and Suns. putting Novak in would have made no difference to against teams that were destroying us with their offense and 78% shooting accuracy.

We desperately needed good outside shooters like BJAX and Novak, because Tmac and Landry were completely shut down by Suns/Celts D when driving to the basket.

Adelman is completely deaf dumb blind, idiot/fool for not taking advantage of the outside shooters. it WOULD have made the difference.

Novak is a great shooter but you have failed as a basketball team when you have to depend on a guy like him for long stretches. The celtics played good d but the problem was that the rockets weren't getting inside because they kept going to a flawed pick and roll.

The suns didn't play particularly well on defense either, Landry and tmac got inside often. While watching the game you could clearly see the rockets were playing good defense on the suns, even though they shot 78%. Amare had a hand in his face on every possession but if you play Novak that's who he would defend. Just because a team is on fire doesn't mean they can't play better by taking it to a poor defender.

Phoenix is Bizarro World. Shaq hits free throws and Grant Hill plays a full season.

No he will not. Tmac is frustrated as h3ll because the refs do not call hard fouls on his defenders.

Tmac is not a good free throw shooter period end of story. He has gotten worse. AT under 70% he is below respectability. He had a career high of 80% his last year in Orlando.

    Utter BS.

Rockets had NO DEFENSE, and NO OFFENSE WHATSOEVER against Suns and Celts. Rox offense AND defense were totally ineffective against those teams.

At least with Novak and Jackson3-point shooting, you could get some offense going!!

    I'll say it again,

    FIRE ADELMAN!!

The MOFO is on the take!!!

Seriously ridiculous! Steve Kerr wasn't known for his defense. Jason Kapono wasnt known for his defense. He's not in there for defense just like Battier isnt in their for offense. Rockets have too many defensive minded players already. Battier, Hayes, and Mutombo but they have NO PURE SHOOTERS!

    Dear Nightwatch,

I just won my 800th game as an NBA coach following a career as a player. I have led three teams to the finals. I am one of the leading candidates to win the Coach of the Year award this year. When you coach your first under 8 basketball game at the YMCA, give me a call and tell me the results. Best of luck,

    -Rick Adelman

P.S.- I am a multi-millionaire based on my basketball achievements and acumen. Enjoy your Mom's basement!

I've noticed that lately (last 40 games or so) tmac has been gettin guys in the air, yet not drawing the contact to get the foul. Instead he passes off almost everytime. He used to get guys in the air and get the contact almost every time. He's bombing on freethrows because he's not getting the line as frequently as he used to. That affects alot. believe me---from experience... :(
