Well that's right since the trade deadline has passed the Atlanta Hawks have been talking about cutting J R Rider. People who are waiting for this is Miami and Orland (so I've heard) will Houston be interested??? I don't think right now the Rockets are interested! But, we do need some help!
I want to hear yalls intake on it!

    Here is my answer: NO

I would love to have somebody with Rider's talent, but if it came in a different package, preferably with a brain. The guy is not what we need in our clubhouse at this point. One thing I love about these rockets, is not only a fun group to watch with a lot of potential, but a good group. And by that I mean quality people on and off the court, no one on the Rockets would I be ashamed of.

I, honestly, would rather have a bunch of quality players that play 500 ball, then a bunch of thugs and misfits that win the championship. Just my opinion...

He wouldn't come here anyway. He would want to go to a winner, and we are clearly not there yet.

No way, that just isn't going to happen!!

And if for some way it happens, yeah sure the rockets should sign him!

Rudy did a stint with Mad Max and I don't think he wants to relive those experiences with Rider.

Forget Rider.... He's more trouble than he's worth. The last thing Houston needs is a prima donna like him.

I dont think we should sign him. If we resign Mobley, whom I think is a budding future star, then he won't be getting a lot of minutes. Plus we already have Shandon. We gotta give both of them a lot of minutes so they can keep on developing.

    PLUS, rider is just stupid.

Rider will lose more games with STUPIDITY, then he will win with TALENT.

Not to mention the man is a CANCER in the clubhouse.

I think that the Mavs will sign Rider so that he can be the counter point to Rodman on the team.
