That sucks. Does Rubio have any injury history, or is this his first real injury?

Out for the year, that sucks, I really like how he plays the game, a special player who will only get better.

And to miss the Olympics too, man that is tough.

Injuries are the huge unknown factor that can swing the fortunes of the best laid plans of the brightest minds in basketball. Very unfortunate. And yes, they were headed for the 8th seed.

Poor Ricky and I'm not talking about Rubio here.

"When will I ever have a full season of both my stars being healthy!?"

    :p

In all seriousness, unfortunate for RR.

What a terrible way to go out for the Wolves. Hope Rubio's OK long-term. Really liked watching him play.

    Sucks for Ricky.

Being less than 100% physically just blows a$$. (And not in a good way.)

Sucks for Minnesota, but if we make the playoffs instead, New Jersey can offer the pick to Orlando in the offseason, should Dwight force Orlando's hand and make them take Lopez and a pick to at least garner something out of losing the guy.

Sucks for Rubio ... I really like watching him play. Having been in on interviews with him a couple of times also, he seems like a mellow, cool dude.

Timberwolves are still a good team, but if this hurts their W-L, this has an impact on the Rockets.

    1. The 2011-12 playoff pursuit.
    2. The 2012 second round pick that Minnesota owes Houston.
    3. Sergio Llull, starting point guard for Spain in the Olympics?

You're kidding right? This could hoist the Rockets up to the 8th seed!

:grin:What people not know, this injury opens up a impact trade for the Rockets. They would need to move Luke back to the 1 and will be in need of a SG. Bye K.Martin
