See the above was kind of my original impression, and I just remember the old crazy Ricky Davis who tried to pilfer a triple double, or have shootouts with the opposing team's star player. But now, I don't really know if the above is a bad thing? No shot is a bad shot? Well, if he shoots at the same FG% clip as he did this season, that wouldn't be that bad. He'd be our best 3 point shooter and a decent enough 2 point scorer. Always gets his share of FGA's in every game? Well, I guess that would balance out Shane Never Shoot the Ball Battier or Chuck I Have No Offensive Game Hayes. Offense remains our problem, and Davis seems to be at least above average offensively. Then according to those who know, he is also decently athletic and can play defense...when he wants. Just looking over his game logs at NBA.com, I really like what I see. This prolific chucker, get mine at the expense of the team, cancer, took over 20 shots in a game 1 time this past year. 1 time. On a horrible team. Which is less the Rafer did for us. He was generally consistently between 10-15 shoots, at the averages he posted for the season. He had a few clunker games (3-13 types), but almost without fail, every time he was on the higher end of that scale (15+ shots), he was having a good/great shooting day. Granted, this is just looking at stats, but still...
Well he is good friends with Rafer. They both have played in And1 games together. Maybe if he comes here the rest of the guys will set him straight.
