I'm pretty sure he's angry-gay (like a prisoner, not a normal gay dude) because he ass-raped every broke college student in Texas, and many of them are male.
Everyone who ever attended U of H should be freaking out on Perry. Bet ya didn't know he cancelled ledger one money from U of H and gave to UT Dallas instead... Ya that big research institution in the armpit of Texas, UT Dallas.
An e-mail I just received from a very good friend...and a very staunch Republican. I've always known it to be fact about Lt. Guv (it's been presented to me from reliable sources, but that's old, old news). As far as Guv... I got wind of it about 2 1/2 weeks ago about being caught with an Intern (whose name does not begin with Ms. or Mrs.) who is the son of either a Rep. or Sen. (got to love how the plot thickens...) and that his wife has moved out of the Big House and has hired a high-powered, male hating, contingency case basis local attorney... Funny how none of this has made print in what even you would concede is a Liberal based news reporting atmosphere. My source (blood relative) has said she has heard it from simply too many "hire powered" people for it not to be true, thus it must be true. I also heard that at least some press have questioned the Guv.'s press spokesperson and she has told them to write what they think they have to write but there will be no comment from him or his office. She was even told by the press that they had a "source" meaning solid source, and she just told them to do whatever they felt they needed to do. Very Weird. You would think that it would be not only local & state front page headlines, but even national headlines. I'll keep you posted as I here more, but this situation is just odd. Heaven forbid that the press would actually consider something as "a personal matter" and leave the family alone... But even I think it should be front page news since he's the Guv (gosh I hate saying those words Guv and associating it with someone who's been sooooooooooo ineffective!!). Take it for what you will.
I hope I did this right, if not... check out the "Sen. Kerry had an affair with Hillary" nonsense thread. Gene, you're late! Chump posted it first, to give proper credit. I have a post in there about hearing this rumor over a week ago, which I did. It really is making the rounds. But I haven't a clue if it's true or not. I'd be shocked if it were. http://bbs.clutchcity.net/php3/showthread.php?s=&threadid=73098&perpage=30&pagenumber=1
Geez... I heard a while ago that Anita has hired an attorney and that Rick may resign this weekend. Part of the story now is that Bush is trying to get her to say they're splitting up because of "marital difficulties" instead of the gay liason. Easier to spin. I still find it hard to believe... but I've got to tell you, truthfully, that this is the hot topic at lunch and at happy hour in Austin among those connected somehow to state government. It will not go away. What a trip!
That was one of the things I liked about Wesley Clark, against the wishes of his anti arena rock staff, he made "Don't stop believin" his campaign song. No wonder he did so well..
Sam, you are kidding, right? That was not his theme song. If you're serious, I'm going to be amused for the entire weekend, and that will be very fun. I'm so glad he dropped out. I'd rather have four more years of Bush than Journey re-united for the inaugural ball.
I was talking about Clark. I heard these Perry rumors about a week ago too and decided not to post them. Just didn't want to hex it. Fingers crossed.
Bob: He wanted it to be the theme song, but the staff nixed it. The night he gave his last concession speech (the day before dropping out) he said screw it and had them play it as he left the stage. Pretty ironic since that was exactly when his supporters were actually supposed to 'stop believing.' He also said once that that was his favorite album. Some general. Might as well have picked Lost in Love.
Um, just to ward off some criticism that will naturally follow (and has already been posted): I assume you are not cheering for a marriage to break up, but rather for certain Republicans to reexamine their stance on homosexuality. Me, I just... I just... Wheel in the sky keeps on turnin! And I don't know where I'll be tomo-ah-ah-roh-oh!
Hell yeah I'm serious, it was in the Times or Slate or something. I personally would have chosen "Wheel in the Sky." In fact, I may just play this video game on a 2600 emulator all weekend in memoriam: Awesome screenies here: http://www.x-entertainment.com/messages/472.html
Bob: I couldn't care less about any criticism. I just can't think of anything that tickles me more than a gay Rick Perry.
