Agreed, brooks is off some nights but at least he can make lay ups and at least when he shoots the ball it has a chance to go in, heck at least it has a chance of touching the rim, which is more than you can say for rafer
I think they should limit his shots to a reasonable amount like zero attemps or maybe zero, if he is hot that game
EXACTLY. People always bring up Rondo when comparing the Celtics and the Rox, but the major difference here is that Rondo knows his place and Rafer still thinks he's a good shooter. You rarely see Rondo shoot anything besides layups...and he has a sky high FG% because of it. Rafer, on the other hand, routinely chucks from distance. Teams leave him wide open for a reason. Skip to my Brick needs to understand that, or else I'd much rather than Brooks close out games.
Brooks had a bad game last night and I think a lot of it had to do with the Lakers being soo big. I mean he was guarding Trevor at one point. The Lakers didn't give him any room to shoot any three's. I support Brooks but he's gonna have a hard time against bigger line ups. Brooks has to attack the defense before they get set. He's at his best when he attacks and when he plays like Calvin Murphy did... the "Stop and Pop''.
Thank you thats all im saying is rafer is an excellent back up heck i dont even mind him starting but when its late in a game and you need something to happen y have him in he cant even make a clutch free throw or lay up, so how could you expect him to make a clutch shot under pressure
Even since I first started posting here I've been critical of Rafer and this assessment is absolutely correct. The Rafer Alston experiment has been a horrible failure. It's time for everybody to move on. Absolutely correct as well.

OT: This list of PGs should put to rest the silly notion that Rajon Rondo should be an All-Star. When SGs are added in, the idea is even more crazy.
