I highly doubt Adelman will be available this summer.

carlisle wouldn't be an upgrade over JVG so definitely not him. it'd be really interesting to see what rick adelman could do with tmac and yao.

It blows my mind that anyone thinks Mario Elie would be a better coach for us than JVG. Have you guys heard his "analysis" in the post-game or on the radio?

Hell, I heard Scott Brooks is available as well. Why don't we go after him.

Actually I read somewhere that Brooks is a darkhorse for the Sacramento job.

And to the ones that doubt Carlisle, check his winning percentage before Ron Artest decided to go apesh!t at The Palace.

My first choice is to bring JVG back

My second would be Adelman I think..

Definitly not Mario Ellie... are you all INSANE?? He was an assistant in GS and it was nasty, his post game analysis sucks too.. tho I still appriciate what u have done for the rockets Mario.. I dont want you as our coach

If the Rocks plan on making a change in a coach, I would think that they would want a new coach in place at least a week or two before the nba draft on June 28th. Seeing that it will take a couple of weeks to hire a new coach, we could be hearing on a potential firing/resigning of JVG pretty soon. i.e ~ in the next 10-14 days

adelman is more fun of a coach to lose with, I think.

I want some good looking offense if we are going to lose anyway.

I'm still laughing at the Mario Elie thing. That sounds like something Mattress Mac would reserve a page in the Chronicle for.

Adelman is not a defensive coach. He does lets his team have freedom like Nellie, but I would still prefer Jeff because he's a disciplinarian.

Last time I checked, Nellie has his team getting ready to play Sunday while our defensive minded coach is busy trying to get TNT on the phone for a job.

That's Nellie playing on Sunday, not Aldelman.

    Adleman or Rudy T.

Someone that can make adjustments are realize that Yao will always be slow on defense and play some zone to protect him and rest him.
