I don't know where that's from or why the guy in the clip says it. The clips he has where the guy is the guy is laughing hysterically (somewhat like a hyena) brings a chuckle nearly everytime. He even had a clip of Shane Battier's laugh from his interview a few months back. His show has it's moments.
Ah. I see. I wonder does he even hear a difference when he listens to the clip on Rome's show because it's unbelievably hard to hear one.
ya. i wouldnt have known either, but i happend to be listening the day he broke out that sound clip. i find rome annoying, but the soundbites are funny as hell to me.
Damn, Romey was riding his nuts pretty hard at the end. Coach of the year? Ehhhhhh. He's a great coach and has had it tough, but I woulda gave him COY considerations last year because of the 22 game streak. This year, we've been choking in the 4th time and time again. I wouldn't give COY considerations on just that alone.
can someone recap for those who cant stand rome and his mannerisms and those who cant listen at work? TIA
Adelman was talking about how every situation is different. And here, he mentioned that when the team would hit a bump in the road, he hears everywhere how the old team or the old coach would do it. I'd have to heart it again to describe it exactly; it wasn't a real dig or anything. It just shocked me that he'd even mention 'em.
When asked what he likes about this team, he specifically mentioned the basketball operations people on the team as being very helpful. It sounds to me like he and Morey have a good working relationship.
From all accounts it sounds like Morey would be a very difficult person to dislike. He's smart, personable, and truly seems to enjoy the sport and the people associated with it. Plus I think anyone with an open mind can take what information that the "Morey stat crew" puts together as beneficial. I think JVG has said pretty much the same thing.
