If Yao gets the ball from the FT line, he doesn't need to dribble more than 2 times. 1 or 2 bounces and he'll get a dunk, lay-up or hook shot already. All he needs to do is take the jumper, pass, or fake and take 1 dribble at that spot.

I think it is best to have Yao at that spot at the start of quarters and put him in the low post when the other team is in penalty situations, so the other team cannot foul him while fighting for position and the Rockets can take advantage of Yao FT%.

I'm impressed Adelman was able to address those multiple "how far in the playoffs" type questions with a different answer each time :)

i was mildly excited in 03-04 b/c i thought they would make the playoffs but woudln't stand a chance

i was excited to start 04-05 -> 1st round exit
i was REALLY excited to start 05-06 -> injuries
i was hesitant about 06-07 -> great yr but another first round exit

so ima go into this season expecting us to get a great seed so i won't get that much excited over the reg. season unless it's the big games (spurs, dallas, lakers, suns...).

like most players on the team, the playoffs results are the ONLY thing on my mind. i really hope the team can fulfill all of the fans' dream and end the decade of misery this yr. but we'll see. can't take more heartbreaks.

No offense, but your name means the person who beg for food and wondering
on the street in Chinese. Interesting.

Remember that stupid movie Lew Alcindor errrr I mean Kareem was in - Airplane? "Listen kid I don't care what your dad says......etc."

And of course the other parts "hey kid, ever been in a Turkish prison?" the flight attendant re-inflating the auto pilot, the fluent jive interpreter, etc.

Remember the point guard on that Bucks team who fed Alcindor, err Jabbar, his inlet passes? His name wasn't Alston or Francis. Gosh that's right, someone like Sam might be a little young to have memories of those days and those players.
