Who cares. At least we still have Aaron Brooks the next AI.

Not trying to be rude (and I love Aaron because he's our main point right now and I support our guys), but were you watching the game tonight?

Towards the middle and end of the game he looked more like the next Rafer Alston, not the next AI.

This is the first time I openly admitted that a coach lost a game for us.I was screaming at the TV for time outs, substitutions, and match up changes and for the rockets to slow the game down and atleast let Yao touch the ball.

Adelman should be calling timeouts after every 6-0 run. I concur.

The same could have been said for JVG and Rudy T but that didn't keep them from getting canned when the time was right.

No you don't need Scola againt Dirk. Only dumb coach would continue playing a player knowing in advance he can't guard Dirk. And knowing the fact that Chuck Hayes has been giving Dirk problem. His coaching strategy is really pathetic...did you see him briefly put Brooks back in the 4th and then quickly yank him out because Brooks got burned by Jason Terry?? I mean why even put Brooks in to begin with?? Hoping Jason Terry doesn't go off?? This is why i say he sucks at coaching because he try to toy around with fire and then the next thing you know your lead go from 14 pts down to 3pts and then that's when he started to become serious. This is when he replaced Scola with Hayes...how stupid is that?? It's too late! I seen this same shyt in the regular season..no surprise there. And in the regular season, i seen him yank Yao out with 1 min left when Rockets up by 4. As a result allowing other team to penetrate and score easily without Yao's presence. I mean would you rather make team shoot by having Yao inside or giving up easy layup by taking Yao out?? Rick Adelman is pathetic...'nough said!!

I've never seen a coach that is getting a lot of nominations for Coach of the year, be responsible for every loss of the season. That's how this board treats it. Yes, he made some questionable decisions..one being letting Scola guard Dirk late in the game while Landry was in the game also. But come on, Artest played horrible, Scola played horrible, how about a little blame on the players, instead of the coach every single game.

We know long time ago, RA is not a good defensive coach. Scola has not learned much defensively under him. I wish JVG is still here. I have liked JVG since he came and until now.

Most of the people who want him fired are Yao nuthuggers.

Adelman can't win the big games, we know it before he came. He is showing it now, but of course, the talent level of this team is not as good as the ones he had in Portland and Sacramento.

Adelman needs to learn, that his "let them play out of this funk" philsophy only works when its a SINGLE PLAYER, and not the entire freakin' team!

Like it or not though, the truth is, Adelman is NOT better than JVG. JVG didn't have great success in the playoffs, because the star players (Francis/Yao, then Yao/Mac) were not that experienced, playing the playoffs.

With Adelman, and the core of the Rockets' stars being accustomed to playoff pressure, while producing the same results, means that the coach is at fault.

i'm willing to bet if we had a JV girls team playing against the Mavs tonight, that Adelman would still get blamed for the loss.

Well, I remember reading somewhere here not so long ago how Chucky Hayes contribution to this team is underrated. I know, I know Chucky's offensive limitations especially with Yao on the court could be exploited. But offensive contribution is more than scoring. What about the extra possessions he gives you while on the floor through offensive rebounds. I would like to see Chucky gets at the very least ten minutes a night in the Portland series. I attended last game against the Trailblazers, it was not till Chucky got in that we opened a once close game to a wider margin lead. He did what Chucky does best shut down Aldridge and grabbed some offensive rebounds that led to key treys. If Chucky had time with Dirk atleast ten minutes between the third and fourth quarter, I truely believe there could be different outcome especially Yao was becoming less and less effective out there on the floor. I know Morey will look at his stats and see what our records against playoff contenders for the games Chucky has played atleast 10 minutes. I know the politics here, this is not to bash Yao's overall contribution to this team both offensively and defensively.

It's from the Phil Jackson school of coaching. He never calls timeouts either.

Rick Adelman is an inspirational speaker. LOL. I said this in the post game ... The guy calls timeout in the fourth when, I believe we went down by 4 points. Guess what he does? He doesn't create a plan to counterattack their run, instead he tells them to stay positive. LOL. What?!?!?

Adelman truly disappointed me this game. Sad we end the season with one game remaining and pretty much formulate the worst playoff matchup we could of had. I say this because I think the NBA will want a Portland vs LA matchup in the second round. It will simply get more ratings. Call me a conspiracy theorist, but I'm worried that that is exactly what will happen. Hopefully I'm wrong though.
