Way too soon to say Adelman. Honestly though I think it will go to Byron Scott or Nate McMillan. Honestly, if Portland stays over .500, I think McMillan should get it. They were supposed to be among the dregs of the conference. Yet they were, and still have a legitimate shot at the playoffs in the WC. They are still over .500 and I think they can keep that. They were not supposed to be anywhere close to this especially without Oden. The Hornets always had good players, just never stayed healthy. Most expected them to make the playoffs if they stayed healthy. They have exceeded expectations but not by a whole lot The Rockets have struggled and most expected them to be top 3 in West. Still can be, but then we would be meeting expectations not truly exceeding them. Even if we were stellar the entire post-ASB. Boston was supposed to be a top 3 East team. LA played really well last year before injuries messed up their momentum. This year they have added more talent and Bynum had started to make a name for himself. Even if they get a No. 1 seed, most people would expect that. SA, Dallas, Phoenix, Denver, GS, Detroit, & Utah have all played like most people expected them to play.
No, I don't know the answers. Many people here kept telling me that JVG is a better coach, JVG deserves more credits, they must know something I don't know. They are smart. It is too complex for my little brain to understand. .
