He's a guy who if he wanted to I would like to see coach somewhere. I believe he would be a guy who could be harsh on his players but keep their respect. Adelman seems like he would dress up as a fairy and give t-mac and co. a private lap dance to make them happy if he had to.

The Rockets got destroyed on PnRs against their bigs all game. Chuck Hayes is there best PnR defender at the 4/5 spot. So its a good question posed by the OP.

In fairness, Chuck has been brutal offensively of late (more so than usual), and he did struggle against the Grizzlies last time we played them.

This pretty much sums it up. But complaining about Adelman and staff probably has some merit. First, Yao is definitely a step slower than a lot of bigs, but not abnormally so - he is worse than a Duncan on PnR defense and Duncan is worse than a KG, so that puts Yao nearer the bottom in that category, but Scola and Landry have the lateral quickness to be better and aren't.

Second, and more obviously, Yao is the same guy playing defense he was under JVG. Scola and Landry are different, but then I wouldn't exactly call Juwan Howard a defensive masterpiece. Hayes has gotten a lot less PT, and same with no true backup center, but can that really be it.

At the end of the day, with the frontcourt players they have, they should be much better defensively then they are, and you have to then look at coaching.

And that doesn't even get into backcourt defense.

I LOL'ed. Maybe the Rockets need to replace Adelman with Bale or just call him up to tear the team down nightly.

    Scola: Me play defense...

Bale: Ohhhhh, goooood for you. And how was it? I hope it was FREAKIN' good, because it's useless now, isn't it because the guy got a wide open layup?

You're FREAKIN' right, man. The guy gets a FREAKIN' DNPCD for no FREAKIN' reason and it was a FREAKIN' layup drill out there.

Adelman went out of his way not to play The Chuck Wagon, so I am done with him professionally. :)

Yeah right. I agree with everything that you said, Adelman just couldn't guard Rudy Gay and let OJ Mayo run circle around him all night long. And Adelman also went 1-10 and missed wide-open 3pters all night long. IMHO we should start Wafer and relegate Adelman to the bench.

P.S. You are a freaking moron.
