So good to see Rick Adelman get honored by the NBA with the Chuck Daly award for lifetime achievement. He was one of the great ones and still disappointed he never won a championship. He had some great Portland teams with Clyde and then was robbed of going back to the Finals in 2000 with the Kings. He made the most out of those Rockets teams and will never forget the run we had in 2009 taking the overwhelming favorite the Lakers to 7 with no Yao or T-Mac. He wasn’t always the most personable coach but his teams played a beautiful game full of motion and unselfish. It’s fitting he was honored tonight in Denver a team that plays that style.
