you guys might want to take a look at the two Koch brothers. Hint: they are both on that map. They are the definition of X-Files rulers of Earth.

Even when that map shows it plain as day, people still only focus on Gates and the Waltons. No one in this thread even mentioned the $83b for the brothers. Koch brothers are more than Gates according to that map, and much more liquid and diversified, than both Walmart and Microsoft combined. They work as one... And they are hiding more.

My dad knew Sam Walton personally, before he created Walmart. Northwest Arkansas is a beacon of industry and wealth.

I didn't expect Koch Industries being so big.

I am aware that they're a conglomerate company, but having a hold on all those subsidiary without going public is impressive.

The only known product I know they make is the Dixie cup.

    Lol

Georgia-Pacific has paper in restrooms everywhere. Look for it. Their name brands are Brawny and Quilted Northern.

Most other subsidiaries are not consumer goods.

HP, you're really into these kind of things ha?

I'll do my research on the brothers later.

I like doing these king of things as well since I like to study the life of the rich.

I did a quick search on them yesterday, I found out that they got their money through inheritance.

That's fine with me, but I prefer rich folks who accumulated their wealth through hardwork and determination --- self made.

Just read up a little on them
They have two brothers . . .and their family dispute over Daddy's money was nasty

I wonder who will get their money [and influence] when they die
and which way they lean politically

Their father owned the Rockets. They sold when he died to split up their inheritance.

Question: What can you do with a Billion dollars than you cannot with a 100 Million? 500 Million? [other than say . . I'm a Billionaire]

After 500 Million . . . there is not much else you can buy . . . .except people.

    Own the Houston Rockets.

Rebuild the Houston City Skyline District.

Create a state of the art stadium for the Houston Rockets.

Start your own car manufacturing company.

I can go on if you want me to.

Selling the Rockets in 1981 was yet another really bad idea by the Maloof Brothers.
