I can't stand Bayless as much as the next guy so I was really looking forward to watching this video based on the thread title. That said, I came away feeling embarassed for Richard Sherman because he came across like a petulant child to me.
in some circles he made skip the victim and that can't be what he was trying to accomplish. i don't want that either, skip is the devil as far as i'm concerned.
How did Sherman own him? It was an embarrassment for both of them. Richard Sherman was being an incomprehensible ass.
Can't stand Skip...or SAS....or those shows ESPN has. (first take?) But that sherman guy really seems like an ass.
richard sherman owned him and l love skip bayless. skip does get personal and he got called out. it will only make espn more money, but sherman got over. skip going to the why are you doing this card was weak sauce
Put me in the camp with those that say that Skip got what he wanted. In some places, Sherman is being applauded for putting Skip Bayless in his place, but Bayless and ESPN couldn't be happier with what went down. Bayless isn't there because of his encyclopedic sports knowledge. He's there to get a reaction and he did that.
strange, i thought he came across as an inarticulate child. just because you mix a few big boy words in that you are accustomed to other athletes saying doesn't make you articulate. oh, and he did back down from the argument. he ignored questions, and instead personally attacked bayless. i enjoyed the stephen a. smith cringing when sherman spoke, because he knew how bad he was making himself look.
EXACTLY. Had Sherman simply refused to answer any questions if Bayless didn't preceed the question with "All-Pro Stanford grad Richard Sherman ..." and then preceeded to answer every question calmly, in the most cliche non-commital answers possible, he would have won the ever-loving crap out of that confrontation. Too bad.
There's actually a show that has both Skip Bayless and Stephen A Smith? Wow. I'm guessing the people that watch this are the same ones that listen to 610.
