    He changed the game.

He picked up where Redd Foxx and Lenny Bruce left off, he was brutally profane but did it in a way that made the mainstream take notice and embrace. If it wasn't for him there would be no Eddie Murphy, Chris Rock or Kings of Comedy.

The last time I saw him he was at the Comedy Store wheelchair bound and went on a 10 minute rant about slobber, and how his it was affecting his life.

    There will never be another.

    Rest well Daddy Rich...

I really hope this doesn't come off the wrong way, but the world of comedy has been missing him for about ten years already.

At least he's in a better place now. RIP

Even if your timing didn't suck, it still wouldn't be funny.

The funniest mother***** of all time. Is there anyone out there who he didn't influence or inspire? I remember being 5 years old watching him on SNL doing the Exorcist skit, funny as hell. THE BED IS ON MY FOOT!!! :D

You don't have to be crazy to blow 30 million dollars in 30 days. But it helps.

    R.I.P. Gus Gorman.

Just kidding. Although that is the first thing I ever saw him in as a kid, his standup was incredible. The best comedian of all-time hands down.

I mean this honestly. Pryor was my idol prior to private sessions telling me what to do.

Richard Pryor was the instigator to every good comedian that there is today.

I would not be as big of an a**hole if it weren't for Richard Pryor.

To those of you who haven't seen the master? For shame. By far and away, the best comic I ever watched.
