Yes, I can tell you the “Jordan Rules” were to knock him down every chance they got.....in an effort to batter and bruise
MJ so he had little to no lift as the game/series went on.

Teams/Players want to ride Harden’s left hip/shooting hand to avoid the push as he dribbles forward, then the step back (gives Harden space) 3-point shot. In game one Harden dribbled left into the defender and then side stepped
right for the 3-point shot. Defender such as Durant and Greek Freak, with greater height, might hamper the shot a little more. I expect this to be the answer for the Jazz....putting a taller/athletic player on the hip of Harden. Maybe Royce O’Neal more. Harden can still catch them lunging with the side-step pump fake.
Screens will also scrape any one particular defender like Paul George off of Harden.

Lousy Rats must have read a post from my past about defending Harden last season. Harden is better now then
    last year though.

I did exaggerate, but I believe in the guy. I thought his 20 game run was just a sample that he wouldn't be able to duplicate, but thankfully he has proven me wrong.

Yup, you're right. Not a great way to defend a team loaded with shooters and guys who will flush it at the rim.
